“Kotłownia” Conference and Exhibition Pavilion
The Kotłownia Conference and Exhibition Pavilion is located on the Warszawska campus of the Cracow University of Technology. It is a historical place. Before World War I, the area where the main university campus is located was occupied by Austrian army barracks.
The building served as a stable of officers' horses. After the war, the barracks buildings were taken over for scientific purposes, and a boiler room (“kotłownia”) was organized in the facility to heat the campus - hence the name.
Currently, the building has been arranged for exhibition purposes. Guests have at their disposal a conference room with capacity for 220 people, with access to daylight and comfortable chairs, as well as a gallery with two exhibition rooms. The facility (with an area of 450 m2) is modernly equipped and provides facilities for disabled people.
